Vermont State Parks has changed its camping reservation policy for 2026.

According to an email we received, as of February 11, instead of releasing all reservations on a single day each month, camping reservations will now open daily, rolling 11 months in advance at 9 a.m.

This change gives campers more chances to book the dates and applies to all parks, including Burton Island.

For more about the change, visit the Vermont State Parks Policy Update.
